San Francisco radio talk show host Melanie Morgan joined CQ's Craig Crawford and Naomi Wolf of American Freedom Campaign on Hardball Friday to discuss the video of Dick Cheney from 1994 contradicting himself on whether the U.S. should invade Iraq or not. True to form, the Queen of Vitriol demonstrated she has no self-respect, scruples or sense of decorum and will say anything to defend the Bush administration. Her hostile display was a perfect example of the current right-wing ideology and debate that is a serious detriment to our national discourse. To put it mildly, Morgan came unglued at the onset; lashing out at Chris Matthews telling him he had a gleam in his eye and only sought to attack Dick Cheney. Not satisfied with eviscerating Matthews she turned to Naomi Wolf and told her how good she was going to look wearing a burka.

If you are wearing a burka you will not get any help from the people of Amsterdam. That is the idea you have to get after this item from 101tv. A reporter is getting dressed in a burka to see how the people of Amsterdam will react if she needs help on the street. She drops a bag with oranges on the street to see whether the people will help with picking up the oranges from the street. AT5 (Amsterdam Television) filmed the team of 101tv accidentally while they were shooting their item and sees a completely different story. According to the reporter, she was immediately helped as she was normally dressed, but when she got dressed in a burka nobody wants to help her anymore according to the reporter. According to the images made by AT5 everyone is immediately ready to help. With or without burka. Then the reporter says, (while she pulls her burka down), I have nothing against a burka, some of my family members are dressed in them too. But god, what makes that a difference. Nobody helps me, the people walk on. But according to the pictures of AT5 the all the people who want to help are told that they must walk on. Recording, people. Walk on!!. AT5 shows the item to the deputy mayor who says that Amsterdam is shown as a city that ignores people in distress on the street. The images are clearly manipulated. What do they want to proof here ? and what should one think when you are watching television like this ? He finds it quite scandalous. The chief of 101tv said that there was no deliberate manipulation and that what was displayed in the item of 101tv for 90% reflects the truth. He says that the young inexperienced programmers liked to make their own truth. To which the reporter says that he is solely responsible for the content on the site and asks him whether he is also inexperienced.
