Browning 1919

Browning 1919 machine gun

Utterly amazing recreation of Gene Kelly's song and dance number from Singing In The Rain. Probably never to be repeated, this program had to be shot in short bits because the 'rain' kept melting the ice. Phenominal number by the amazing Kurt Browning.

Junie Browning and Shane Nelson attempt to hold their alcohol. I did not make or own this video.

God, this man is such an entertainer, just watch this funny number.

David Skal, Stuart Gordon and others discuss Tod Browning's films, including "Dracula" and "Freaks".

Heres a virtual movie of the great Victorian poet Robert Browning (1812 - 1889) reading Epilogue To Asolando" Asolando was Browning's last book; it was published in 1889 on the day he died . The title derives from a fanciful verb asolare, to disport in the open air, to amuse oneself at random, attributed to Bembo at the time of his residence in Asolo, in northern Italy. Asolo had played an important part in Browning's life and work. The poem is read definitively by the late celebrated English clasical actor Jolyon Aires Forsythe. Kind Regards Jim Clark All rights are reserved on this video recording copyright Jim Clark 2008 Epilogue to Asolando [Ed. Note: This poem was the last Browning wrote. --Nelson] AT the midnight in the silence of the sleep-time, When you set your fancies free, Will they pass to where--by death, fools think, imprisoned-- Low he lies who onced so loved you, whom you loved so, --Pity me? Oh to love so, be so loved, yet so mistaken! What had I on earth to do With the slothful, with the mawkish, the unmanly? Like the aimless, helpless, hopeless, did I drivel --Being--who? One who never turned his back but marched breast forward, Never doubted clouds would break, Never dreamed, though right were worsted, wrong would triumph, Held we fall to rise, are baffled to fight better, Sleep to wake. No, at noonday in the bustle of man's work-time Greet the unseen with a cheer! Bid him forward, breast and back as either should be, "Strive and thrive!" cry "Speed,--fight on, fare ever There as here!"

Some knife users want something different. Yeah the Marine Raider, Heavy Bowies, Trailmasters, and other large knives are functional and proven but maybe you want your large knife choice to be a bit more special. Then consider the Crowell/Barker Competition Knife by Browning. Its a collaboration between James Crowell and Reggie Barker, winners of the American Bladesmith Society (ABS) World Cutting Championship. It is currently being produced under the Browning name. Nutnfancy is not the expert on purpose-built rope cutting knives but he knows a thing or two about woods knives. And the CBCK has a heft, balance, blade length (10), and thickness (double tapered ¼) that should make it a formidable chopper and wood splitter in the wilderness. This is again a knife that could do everything and more a small camp axe could do. It compares favorably in size to the aforementioned blades as well. The black micarta handle is handsome and contrasts nicely with the satin finished 1085C blade. The makers also mention camp use with this large blade and it could indeed tackle those tasks with ease. However there are a few downsides as well: the carbon steel blade is uncoated and will tend to rust easily in humid environments (keep it wiped down!), the micarta handles are not removable for maintenance purposes, the handle tends to the short side if you have large hands, and the squared corners of the grip could be radiused more. But overall its a slick and impressive package, especially with the included and personally signed product card. The Crowell/Barker design therefore results in an affordable, cool, and very functional collectible large knife. Nutnfancy Likeability Scale: 7 out of 10

Browning B2000 Shotgun

11 18th, 2008

My late grandfather purchased this Browning on Tuesday, December 20, 1977. My Mom gave it to me for Christmas. It was brand new, still in the box. It had some storage damage from moisture but after a good cleaning with a 4-00 steel wool and gun oil it cleaned up pretty good. I had a gun librarian at Cabella's look at it and he said it was a good shotgun but not as collectible as the Auto-5 was. I debated putting any rounds thru this and finally decided that my grandfather would have wanted me to shoot the piss out of it and get good use from it. It is a Belgian made shotgun.

Kurt Browning 2000 Ice Wars - Rag-GIDON-Time (Clown Number)

Behind the scenes look at the 1970 recording of "Barcelona" - sung by Dean Jones and Susan Browning. From the highly recommended DVD "Company: Original Cast Album". Dean's yawn at 1:20 is written in the script (thanks for the info, mlnreplyer) and can be heard clearly on the released cast album. It is not due to the 3am recording time as I originally described.

Kurt didn't have such a great skate at the Olympics, but just two weeks later he made up for it in a big way! Although, the Halifax Can Can is probably his definitive program, there's not much to criticize here in this seminal work. The freedom and polish of his skating is evident, and he was always a skater who seemed to greatly enjoy his time on the ice.
