  1. Denisha Says:
Yeah, it does..but looking at the way the light was illuminating, it seem that was just really heavy rain and hail moving into town. I didn't see the power going out so the tornado couldn't of been in the shot. At 3:06 a flash of light illuminated the sky to the right of the picture. That could've been a possible power flash, so I'd have to say the tornado possibly was just off to the right of the view finder.
  2. DALY Says:
    depends how wide it was
  3. Romano Says:
at 3:06 are those power flashes?
  4. Gretchen Says:
Honestly, that tornado wasn't in the shot untill they panned right at the very end. The majority of the footage was pointing towards the shelf cloud and the intense rain and hail underneath it coming into town. The tornado pretty much broad sided the camera.
  5. KERES Says:
to my honest opinion Dave Freeman is one of the best Meteorologists, but these guys did a very very good job especially to get it on camera
  6. Arlyn Says:
    maine even had some
  7. Grenville Says:
Yeah Michigan doesn't get much in the metro Detroit area. Which really does hinder my storm chasing abilities.
  8. Telen Says:
not sure how big it was. my dad doesnt like to talk about it. like i said tho my dad was 13 and 3 of his friends died =/ and both his legs were broken
  9. Guanhumora Says:

  10. ORPHEUS Says:
yow! how big was the one your dad was inside? what happened?
  11. Prospero Says:
something similar happened to me i was in the car on my way home from a baseball game that got canceled and it was probably the darkest ive ever seen the sky being and it turns out a tornado wasnt a few miles away from us. as you said ur mother saw a tornado my Dad was inside of one when he was about 13 and broke both of his legs =/ glad im here
  12. SHAFIQ Says:
Some states are less likely to have devastating tornadoes. There are some areas in those states, that it's extremely rare to have a tornado. I've lived in Michigan all of my life. I've never seen one, although I supposedly drove right through one, one afternoon. It was so black that I just couldn't/didn't see it. But there was a confirmed touchdown on that same road, at the exact same time of day that I passed through, trying to get home quickly! My mom,74,has seen one actual funnel cloud
  13. Kakawangwa Says:
all da states in da U.S besides maine
  14. Ferne Says:
In the US, all states have tornadoes.
  15. Maddock Says:
Which state does not have tornadoes?
  16. Giovanna Says:
trust me u dont ever wanna see one
  17. Hallie Says:
Hard to believe this all happened one day before my 30th birthday (June 12).
  18. Wadanhyll Says:
Matt, Craig and Alex did the best job that night covering the storms. They were the only ones to have the tornado on live Manhattan webcam. I think KSNT might have had the tornado on the air but their cameras are crappy.
  19. Azzam Says:
    cripes!
  20. Marvella Says:
    ahhaah
  21. Stanton Says:

  22. Alurea Says:

  23. Yaffit Says:

  24. Giovanna Says:
At 3:24, the power went out at the right of your screen for liek 5 seconds or so. BTW nice video! Amazing too.
