January 7th, 2009 at 16:44:57 It took Jimmie like 4 years to come back and start playing again. And it was Clapton who brought him back. That and "Six Strings Down" was given to Jimmie by someone who's name I can't remember right now
January 7th, 2009 at 17:07:56 Eric Clapton had nothing to do with Stevie being on the helicopter that night. It was Clapton's helicopter used to transport his crew to and from the shows. And actually Stevie requested the seat from his brother Jimmie because he wanted to get back to see or call his girlfriend
January 7th, 2009 at 17:30:55 i think if ur awesome famous brother had just died u'd be playing shitty too lol. : P if stevie had been my bro i would have never touched the guitar again, though stevie worshipped jimmie.
January 7th, 2009 at 17:53:54 aparently stevie swaped seats with eric clapton on helecopter and then it blew up .........fate?

January 7th, 2009 at 18:39:52 Jimmie must have been having a bad day here. I've seen tons of videos of him playing beautifully and without a capo, some from this 2008 too

January 7th, 2009 at 19:25:50 jimmi vaughan really stinks it up here. and why does he need to use a capo???

January 7th, 2009 at 20:11:48 Hendrix was influenced by Buddy Guy. You can find a vid on the tube Hendrix watching Buddy Guy. Marvalous!
January 7th, 2009 at 20:34:47 No. BG and robert Johnsonn. Hehad the most fun Listening to Robert and BG was the one who made Clapton want to do the big work and not being in the shadow. Freedy King ofcourse too But these too are the biggest for him.
January 7th, 2009 at 20:57:46 Guy was quite the influence on Clapton. But I think the player that Clapton looked up to most was Freddie King.
January 7th, 2009 at 21:20:45 I'm pretty sure by "guy", he means Buddy Guy.
January 7th, 2009 at 21:43:44 dude i dont think stevie...could've ever had a bad day...ya know ?? haha... r.i.p mate....
January 7th, 2009 at 22:06:43 I also thought Jimmie's playing was sloppy and out of time, considering Stevie thought Jimmie was the better player he must've been having a bad day
January 7th, 2009 at 22:29:42 jimmy is playin like first class kid shame on you big brother of god
January 7th, 2009 at 22:52:41 BG was EC's biggest influence. He was enjoying it very MUCH! Haha. It gave him power. That's why he did such good solo. Look how he begins: Tnx Buddy!:p
