January 7th, 2009 at 18:19:43 even with my flat broke-ness (14 years old), I still chose 30th anniversary edition over saving money (definitely worth it)

January 7th, 2009 at 19:28:40 Good point! Even if someone only wanted to buy just the Budokan album and none of the others that Trick released, it would show just how much pure energy this 70s classic LP really had. Consider that Disco was so wildly popular at the time. These boys just were not afraid of trying a style that was so different for the times.
January 7th, 2009 at 19:51:39 That is a real good question. You knew when this album came out that it was a great album that even non Cheap Trick fans liked. It was so cool for its time, and I would have to say it was a tie between the songs and the audience reaction that set it apart.
January 7th, 2009 at 20:14:38 One of the most classic rock songs ever...sounded good in '78 and still sounds good in '09. Gotta love Cheap Trick!
January 7th, 2009 at 20:37:37 The track holds up.

January 7th, 2009 at 22:32:32 It's always good to hear their stuff in a movie.
January 7th, 2009 at 22:55:31 I must agree! I like everything I have ever heard from "The Trick." However, Budokan just takes the cake. Nothing tricky about it.
January 7th, 2009 at 23:18:30 There is just something really really magical about the Budokan performance, an energy just that is very very hard to replicate. It has to be considered without question one of the greatest moments in rock history.
January 8th, 2009 at 23:41:29 That Cheap Trick at Budokan album simply has to be the best release the boys ever made! Each and every fan of the "Tricksters" whom I have ever met said it was his or her very favorite album from the band. Its lasting power continues to amaze me. How on earth did "Cheap" hit the top with Budokan? Was it the great set of songs? Was it their amazing way of interacting with the audience? Were the fans at Japan giving them the amazing support they needed? It must have been all of the above!
January 8th, 2009 at 00:04:28 Me thre. now see how fucking dumb that looks. when you write a word can you do us all a favor and put all the fucking vowels in.
