  1. Caolan Says:
I could love this man, in so many ways, for a very long time indeed
  2. GIRVEN Says:
Love david ford. This song is the epitome of my life. Youtube stop the spam. it isn't hard. hire me.
  3. Bridget Says:
    I completely agree, my friend.
  4. Nurit Says:
Why is using that word such a big deal? It's just that - a word!!! It has a meaning and it's being used in an emotive and meaningful way. There's no gratuitousness in his use of the word. There are some things that are aimed at adults because they deal with adult situations. Sure, you might not play the song to your sister, but although the music is beautiful on its own, the lyrics would mean very little to a young girl. There's plenty of other music around with lyrics suitable for young people.
  5. ADAMINA Says:
if u notice (all up ppl who are sayin hesbad cuz he swears) he only drops the f bomb once... download the song edit it and presto, ur good to go
  6. Kassie Says:
Yes you are right, the miserable fuck IS himself, and it is intended that way...as it is a song about trying to lift himself up. he uses the f word to describe how much he hates his own miserable being at the time of writing the song.
  7. Mansfield Says:
You people slay me. The TITLE of the song is Cheer Up You Miserable Fuck. If you don't like that word, why are you watching this? Need to get a sign and preach to nobody on a street corner or something. Don't you have a life? Please let's not be lonely.
  8. WAZIR Says:
Fair enough. I completely understand what you're saying, and I agree: this isn't something that I would share with my little sister, at least until she's mature enough to handle it. All I'm saying is that just because you use a swear doesn't mean the song itself is not worth listening to. I find the musicality of the song is beautiful, and, for the most part, the lyrics are very nice, though melancholy. Of course, again, that is just my opinion. *shrugs* To each their own, I suppose.
  9. MERCIA Says:
The use of the 'F' word shows a lack of ability to express himself. He reminds me of the sorrowfulness of Leonard Cohen except that this stuff makes Mr Cohen seem positively upbeat. I think that the Miserable F*** is the singer himself.
  10. Ettie Says:
    wonderful
  11. BARNUM Says:
who cares if he used the word fuck. It doesn't change how great the song is. Not every song is going to be "family friendly." It is his way of expressing his emotion in this song. It isn't like he is using it in terrible context.
  12. Phoenix Says:
I'm big on family-friendly music. *shrugs* And that kind of language, even if it fits, isn't family friendly. If I can't share it with everyone, well, I can't explain it, but I want to be able to share songs I like with people I care about, and that kind of language hinders that. Being able to share music that's meaningful to me is extremely important to me.
  13. Dorrin Says:
Agreed. However, just because you include "fuck" doesn't mean that you added it in just because you wanted to be, quote-unquote, edgy. There is a lot of emotion that goes with that word, and, sometimes, nothing else fits. Here? It fits beautifully, in my opinion. But we may just have to agree to disagree.
  14. Cochava Says:
A good song except for one thing: you don't have to say fuck for your music to be good music.
  15. Asayleus Says:
this song just blew my mind all over again, it's almost like every time you hear his songs it feels like the first time b/c theirs so much passion and emotion behind it, his voice the lyrics, the looping, it's all great, I'm officially jealous of this dude b/c he's on to something. Only other guy i've seen do similar is Joseph Arthur.
  16. NICHOLAS Says:
this is freaking amazing, he charges his music with so much emotion :D
  17. LAM Says:
    Ill marry, this man.
  18. Secg Says:
I used to be emo, and now i'm sad every time someone's depressed.
  19. Vince Says:
heh this song says it all enjoy ur life always look up......u miserable.....lol
  20. Ban Says:
love it love it LOVE IT !
  21. CADWALLON Says:
One of a kind...looks like he's built a keyboard into his upright piano...totally awesome!!!
  22. Zoe Says:

  24. Peirce Says:
