Comments to “Petter Solberg driving the new Impreza STI”
  1. Fainche Says:
Open your eyes and look at the WRC Citroen. First off: two doors. Second off: hatch.
  2. KAYIN Says:
I hope that Subaru sticks to the input it got from great drivers like Solberg, rather than what boy-racers post on the input. The bottom line is that a hatchback design allows for less overhang, and thus, is a more suitable platform for performance than a trunk. Especially in rallying. Why have hatchbacks dominated WRC for a few years now? Citroen C4, Ford Focus, and now STi. (Sadly we won't get a full season with Subaru's new design.)
  3. Prentice Says:
I agree, I prefer the older models to the current one, but you could soon sort out the understeer with some different springs and sway bars (anti-roll bars, whatever you want to call them!). Shame it's not better balanced from the factory though....
  4. Erkerd Says:
Terrible understeer, a big step backwards, i love Impreza's but hate the 08 model
  5. Hillocke Says:
    dude understeer much?
  6. Adrian Says:
Subaru Impreza BEST MODEL 2005-2007 ^^^^
  7. Alfreda Says:
boah man spürt richtig wie hoch , das Auto sein muss und wie es untersteuert Lancer war da ja immer agiler aber für anfänger wohl zu heftig
  8. DANA Says:
he should be wearing a helmet
  9. Ronnie Says:
I like the fact that he enjoys the ride!
  10. Cayden Says:
nice!!! Petter Solberg is the king and the subaru is a fabulous car :)
  11. Jolleen Says:
    LEOB OS KING!
  12. Kalei Says:
they dont if ur solberg >.~
  13. Waylin Says:
Yes it would be. I'll talk to him next time I see him
  14. Easter Says:
No problem, and right back at ya. :D I actually think it would be interesting to find out exactly what your cousin meant by his comment. Just because I really can't figure it out.
  15. Noemie Says:
Haha yes I am sorry, it was a little harsh. I assumed you were because there are a lot of them that think they know everything jst by watching fast and the furious. Sorry if I disrespected you in any way
  16. Jamael Says:
Believe me, I know. And not everyone that makes a perhaps slighty harsh statement is 15 y/o and using mom's computer! ;) I will agree that the new Impreza is not the prettiest, I personally think the 22b or the latest long Impreza are the nicest, but I will say that the more rallies I see the new one in, the nicer I think it looks! Not that it comes close to the others, but no puke now. And BTW, WRC - JWRC and PWRC are in the same organisation, just different classes, hence my original comment.
  17. KIRKWOOD Says:
I don't understand why he would want to move down into another organization, but it is just what I have been told. As far as I know he is ranked #3 in the WRC. Any way, I think the 04-05 STi is the best looking. Just so you know, not all American's are loud and obnoxious
  18. KYLLIKKI Says:
You now sound like someone who actually has something behind your original statement. However, as you said Solberg wanted to drive a different class, and I can't see him moving down from top-flight WRC to "junior"-level JWRC or privateer-level PWRC, I don't see it making any sense. Furthermore, the new design fits in perfectly with the bodyshaping trend started by the 206 WRC and continued by cars like the C4 WRC and the SX4 WRC, and now Impreza WRC. Racism, I am totally against that (all forms)
  19. RALEIGH Says:
. I also heard it from two Subaru employees at a SCCA rally. Again I'm not trying to compare the SCCA to WRC, they are in completely different leagues. I only commented to inform "musliminshallah" of what I was told. Whether or not it is right or wrong. And to inform him that the design does not appeal to Americans and he is just being racist.
  20. Darrance Says:
I never said anything about the WRC. The SCCA's rally division is not very good, it is mainly just for weekend warriors who want to get the most out of their Scoobies. All I said is that I heard that Solberg decided that he wanted to race in a different class (never said anthing about the WRC) from my cousin.
  21. HANS Says:
Wow! Way to take a sober response to your post! FYI, I'm not 15, I'm not on my mom's computer, and I have been involved in rally pretty much since I wasn't even born, as I was along as a "blind passenger", when my mom raced while pregnant with me. Don't know your cousin, so won't make any allegations about him, but please try and take my former post a little more seriously. And BTW, don't give much for the SCCA (or Travis Pastrana for that reason). Looking forward to the first American WRCchamp
  22. POLYXENA Says:
Well I would take my cousin's word over yours, seeing as how you probably are just a 15 year old on his mom's computer. He heard it from on of his competitors at a race, it doesn't mean that it's true, but I have also heard it before from other peole.
  23. RALEIGH Says:
Then he seriously needs to reconsider his career, or start reading the rules for the WRC! This version, as the old version, drives in the WRC, which is not decided by cars size, shape or anything else visual, but by the engine.
  24. Orland Says:
i can't believe you compared an sti to a civic...haha
  25. MONROE Says:
The car is ugly as hell it doesn't matter what country your from well all think the same. I'm not sure what class it is, I'm guessing the ugly hatch class. It's just what my cousin told me, he rallys in the SCCA
