    November 19th, 2008 at 06:37:05 I like the way the singers move here, their postures and actions reflecting the drama. The Zerlina is indeed rather shy and the Don Giovanni smooth and tender without obvious lasciviousness. When Donna Elvira comes in, her body posture is tense with frustration and anger; just look at those arms of hers! No wonder the Don jumps back when she snarls at him.
